The Generational Handover in Indian Dairy Farming

A quiet shift is underway across India's villages. Young people who grew up around dairy farming are taking over from their parents, and they're bringing different expectations with them. They want digital tools, transparent payments, and a real chance to grow the business. In this post we share interviews with eight young farmers across our network, what they value about the work, and what the cooperative model needs to change to keep the next generation engaged.
